About our founder

Who You Charter With Matters

Before founding Executive Air Space, John Traub spent more than 30 years building client relationships and learning what exceptional service actually requires: responsiveness, accountability and attention to detail.

When John decided to enter private aviation, he spent nearly two years studying the industry and meeting with operators and brokerages across the country. He ultimately chose to build Executive Air Space as a Stratos Jets franchise because of a shared commitment to safety, ethics and putting the client's interests first.

Today, John works directly with clients to understand not only where they're going, but how they prefer to travel, from aircraft and airport preferences to schedules, catering, ground transportation and the details that make each trip easier.

Backed by Stratos Jets

Every flight is arranged through Stratos Jets, founded in 2006 and among the first ARGUS Certified Brokerages in the industry.

CABAA Member

John is a member of the Chicago Area Business Aviation Association, staying connected to the standards and relationships that shape private aviation in Greater Chicago.

Executive Air Space Podcast

John built the Executive Air Space Podcast to bring conversations with aviation and business leaders directly to clients, covering growth, leadership, and how successful companies operate.

The Right Aircraft. Not Our Aircraft

Executive Air Space does not own or operate aircraft, so the recommendation begins with the client's mission rather than filling owned capacity.

Relationship-Built Access

Not Marketplace Listings

Executive Air Space operates within Stratos Jets' Risk-Managed Private Aviation™ framework, giving clients access to 450+ ARGUS Platinum operator relationships built over nearly 20 years.

Executive Air Space sources what's right for the mission. That distinction matters most when demand is high and availability is tight.

why choose us

Vetted Options

A short list of vetted aircraft is typically presented per trip, not a list of fifty to sort through. Each option has already passed the same evaluation.

Technology-Backed Sourcing

Stratos FMS™ pulls live operator availability instead of static listings, and SkyGuide AI™ filters each option by range, certification, and operator standing before anything reaches you.

One Advisor, Not an Algorithm

John reviews everything the technology surfaces and brings you a short list built around your trip, not just a filtered feed.

The Executive Air Space Agency

Meet the Team

Every advisor on this team operates under the same Risk-Managed Private Aviation™ framework — vetted operators, documented standards, and one point of contact managing each trip from quote to wheels-down.

Great experience

It was great from start to finish. Everyone was very professional and helpful. There were no worries at all. Just what we needed.

Easy peasy

We really appreciated how easy it was to find and book the flight we needed. The booking agent was knowledgeable and offered great insight about the route and available aircraft. There was a good amount of communication between myself and Stratos in the days and hours before the flight. I felt confident when I arrived at the departure location even though this was my first time flying charter from that airport and first time with Stratos brokered flight. The aircraft and crew were helpful and efficient. Friends have asked about my experience flying with this charter and I have recommended them to use Stratos
